Guild Wars 2 Classes
The Guild Wars 2 classes can be broken down into race and profession. The race consist of Sylvari, Norn, Charr, Asura, and Human. After selecting your race, you will be able to choose their profession which includes the Guardian, Ranger, Warrior, Elementalist, and Necromancer.
These creatures bloomed out from a tree deep in the Maguum Jungle. What drives them is their souls in which the Dream has brought them to life. They have strong connections with their land and animals and along with some magic.
Special: Magic, Earth, Animal Companion
They come from the frozen north. These impressive warriors are not like any other. Steel weaponry is what they master in. They have the ability to shape-shift into beast such as a bear, snow leopard, raven and a wolf.
Special: Brute Force, Shape-Shifting
Even as a youth they have been trained to be a warrior. With their strong fangs and deadly claws, nothing can stand in the way of the charr. They walk with boldness and force, which brings the lesser race trembling with fear.
Special: Strong Attack and Defense, Brawler
Asuras may be small, but their intelligence is superior than any other race. They believe survival comes from being clever, not the use of power and strength. They use their knowledge to create golems, gates, weapons and other futurist inventions.
Special: Build of Weapons and Shields
They have been through the invasion of Ascalon by the savage charr and have fought many battles over the years. They fight for their Gods and will go against any enemy and they hold their word that they will never fail their people.
Special: Tactical Fighter, Favored by the Gods
The guardian calls upon mighty virtues to smite enemies and protect allies. Guardians are dangerous and do damage while wielding with a staff or two-handed hammer while providing strong defence for the ally party.

Guardian Skills
The ranger is a master at ranged combat while wielding a bow. With a pet by their side, this fighter can be dangerous up close too. Don’t get too close to this ranger because you might find yourself in a lethal trap. Pets include bears, moas, devourers, and sharks.

Ranger Skills
The warrior is the toughest fighter with the strongest armor. The warrior gets its power through adrenaline making their attacks violent. You can customize your warrior with a sword, axe, hammer, mace, longbow, or rifle.
Skills: Stances, Chains, Banners, Shouts, Charge
Warrior Skills
The elementalist has the natural forces of fire, air, water, and earth on their side. They have armor penetrate skills which will bring down an enemy or even a group of enemies down fast while still having skills to protect your fellow allies.
Skills: Glyphs, Signets, Conjure Spells, Area Spells
Elementalist Skills
The necromancer uses dark magic to summon the dead and wield the power of lost souls to bring death upon the enemies. The necromancer survives by stealing life and exploiting the corpse of the dead. They also cheat death and bring allies right back to life from the dead.
Skills: Wells, Minions, Marks, Fear
Necromancer Skills
The thief is known for its stealth and surprise. They are most deadly when they catch the enemies off guard. Even though the thief has low armor and health, they are very quick and evasive.

Choosing the Guild Wars 2 classes will be one of the first decisions when playing the game. Each profession has it’s strength and weakness so you can never pick the wrong one. Choose the Guild War 2 classes you will enjoy the most and master in it and you will be successful in Guild Wars 2.
