Guild Wars 2 Gameplay

This game will feature a whole new engine which means the Guild Wars 2 gameplay will be a little different. This article will show you some of the differences between Guild Wars and Guild Wars 2.

So what can we see different in Guild Wars 2 gameplay between Guild Wars?

Controls: The “click to move” movement will be removed. More complex movement will include blocking, ground targeting for spells and attacks, jumping, swimming, and skill usage while running or jumping.
Graphics: The game engine has been improved resulting in better grraphics and new animation and effects.
Characters: The level cap is now raised to 80. When higher level characters play with lower level characters, their power level will be scaled down.
Weapons: Guns will now be a choice of weapon including pistols and rifles.
Races: Asura, Charr, Human, Norn, Sylvari
Professions: Elementalist, Warrior, Ranger, Necromancer, Guardian, Thief

Dye System: With combination, you will have over 400 different shades and colors.
Player vs Player: There will be 2 different types of mode. World PvP which is described as a larger scale with people coming in and out and battles lasting over a long period of time. Structure PvP will be similar like in Guild Wars where you enter a game with maximum level and skills.
